UCT focuses on the underground construction market and attracts companies involved in sewer, water, gas utility, telecommunications, industrial, pipeline, damage prevention and safety along with Consulting Engineers and otherfirms serving the underground construction industry.

Yesterday, the Underground Construction Technology Association (UCTA) and Underground Construction magazine honored David Thomas (Tom) Iseley, Ph.D., P.E., Dist.M.ASCE for his contributions to the underground infrastructure industry at UCTA’s Most Valuable Professional (MVP) ceremony held in conjunction with the annual UCT conference.

Dr. Iseley, director of the Trenchless Technology Center (TTC), Louisiana Tech University, and founder of the Buried Asset Management Institute-International (BAMI-I), will be honored for his exemplary 37-year career as a researcher, educator and practitioner, encouraging progressive innovative trenchless technology practices for the benefit of the public and engineering community, mentoring students and practicing engineers, and fostering a dynamic evolution of the industry.

The NAPC appreciates the work of Dr. Iseley and the TTC and commends UCTA and Underground Construction for honoring him.

Nex year's UCT show will be held in Forth Worth, Texas.
